D365 F&O Senior Architect

We are looking for an experienced D365 F&O architect with background in sales & customer engagement to join our global ERP team in a key position for an ambitious global F&O cloud journey.

About our journey and the role

To support efficiencies and synergies across our companies globally, we have started an ambitious development and rollout of a new integrated business platform based on a modern Microsoft stack (D365 CRM + F&O cloud, Azure API platform, Fabric Data Lakehouse, and Power BI).

In this role, you will join a dynamic ERP team in our Group IT function. The team is responsible for our new D365 Finance & Operation cloud solution and consists both of D365 F&O consultants and architects. This role, as senior architect, is a central role both in our team and for our journey. The focus will be on sales & customer engagement solutions but as a senior, you will naturally be guiding college working in other F&O areas as well.

We are in the early stage of a global rollout program, meaning you will be involved both in solution developments and be guiding our rollout teams as well. Your everyday will be characterized by working closely with stakeholders, project teams, other architects, consultants and developers.

Travel expectations for the role are 20-30 days a year.

Key Responsibilities

The role is to conduct and ensure correct data migration across our global rollouts, while also driving testing and advisory work with business stakeholders to ensure that D365 F&O supports accurate, compliant, and efficient business operations. More specifically:

• Own the end2end solution/templates within Sales, CRM, and CPQ integration between D365 F&O and D365 CE
• Lead the architecture, design, and development of end2end solutions for processes within Sales and Customer Engagement, e.g. Quotation (CRM → F&O), Customer lifecycle and master data governance, Sales order creation, confirmation, and fulfilment, and Pricing, discounting, and campaign automation
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
• Work together with integration team on integration strategies between Dynamics 365 F&O and applications (e.g. CRM).
• Help the team in defining its best practices, policies, security standards, and performance optimizations for F&O as well as ensure compliance to these in own area(s)
• Assist rollout projects with clarifications, solutions to fit/gaps, as well as solution reviewsMentor and support junior architects and consultants within the team.

About you

The ideal candidate has a strong background in data management in D365 Finance & Operations. We imagine that you bring several of below competences

• Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 F&O Architect role with a strong track record.
• 7+ years in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&O + CE) with strong Sales Order & CRM integration experience.
• Deep functional knowledge of:
  • Sales, quotation, pricing, and rebate processes
  • CRM Lead / Opportunity / Account Management
  • Item & customer trade agreements
  • Integration frameworks
• Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency sales operations.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate sales processes into ERP solutions.
• Microsoft MB-210 / MB-220 / MB-700 certifications preferred.
• Experience in global ERP projects, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to work across local entities and global functions.
• Analytical and structured approach
• A structured, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
